HOME REMEDIES FOR SWOLLEN GUMS

The problem of swollen gums is also known as “Gingival Swelling”. Swollen gums may result in a lot of pain and discomfort. Common causes of swollen gums include gum injury, infection, allergy and so on. Common symptoms of swollen gums include pain in the gums, bleeding from gums, increased interspaces between the teeth and so on. The problem of swollen gums can be cured with different home remedies. 

Clove...
You can mix clove oil with black pepper and apply on the affected area to treat the pain and inflammation associated with swollen gums. Clove oil can also be directly applied to reduce the swelling. You can also chew some cloves to deal with the problem of swollen gums.

Ginger...
You can prepare a paste with the use of ginger and salt. Rub this paste directly on the affected area to reduce the pain and swelling resulting from swollen gums.

Lemon...
You can also boil lemon juice in a glass of water. Gargling with this mixture 2 times in a day can help in treating the problem of swollen gums. You can rinse your mouth with lemon juice mixed with essence of rose flower 2 – 3 times in a day to cure the problem of swollen gums.

Treating gum disease with homemade remedies is possible, and can help to cure the various gum problems like gingivitis, periodontitis and several other problems that need to be taken seriously.
