Home Remedies For Nausea

Nausea is a feeling of unease and sickness that is hard to put words
too, but that at some point another most of us have been all too
familiar with. Often times the pre-curser to vomiting, is a miserable
thing to experience. It can be caused for many reasons, from
dehydration to food poisoning, morning sickness to motion sickness,
medications to acid reflux.

 Slice a fresh lemon
The smell of citrus can cut through the murky feeling of nausea, calm
your stomach, and calm you.
You will need…
-1 fresh lemon
-A sharp knife

Directions
Slice the lemon in half and position it close to you so you can smell
it, but it’s not overwhelming. Make sure you are inhaling and exhaling
fully.

Suck on frozen fruit
Keep a few slices of lime or lemon in a plastic baggy in the freezer,
and use for the times you find yourself getting nauseas. Like the smell
of lemon can help you feel better, so can the sharp, fresh flavor of a
straight wedge of lemon or lime. It also helps take your mind off of
it, and while it may create a rush of saliva, it might transform it
into an experience better than the “wet mouth” you get right before you
are sick to your stomach. The cold is akin to sucking on ice-chips or a
Popsicle if your stomach is upset, but if you prefer or didn’t plan
ahead, unfrozen works too.

You will need…
-Several slices of freshly cut lemon or lime, frozen or unfrozen

Directions
At a time you don’t feel ill, cut a few wedges of lemon or lime. Toss
them in a plastic baggy and put them in the freezer. When you start to
feel nauseas, lie down (unless laying down makes it worse, of course)
and suck on a slice. If you don’t have any frozen, fresh can substitute
fine.

Several slices of freshly cut lemon or lime, frozen or unfrozen .....
When you are able to eat something, snack on toast or saltine crackers,
or frozen fruit is good too.

How to Whiten Teeth With Baking Soda and Lemon Paste

If you wish to get rid of yellow teeth, you can try some natural remedies. There are many kitchen ingredients that you can use to restore your pearly white smile.

Baking Soda and Lemon Juice Paste
Baking Soda isn’t a shocker here. Sodium bicarbonate (its official name) is mildly abrasive; gently scrubbing away surface stains to return teeth to a whiter shade. It’s also very alkaline (the opposite of acidic) so I would think if you have a very acidic mouth or eat a lot of acidic food, it could help balance out the Ph, which would be useful as acid breaks down enamel-this is strictly speculation on my part. It will also reduce the acidity of the lemon juice, which acts as a natural bleach of sorts. I use a mixture of baking soda and water on some days, and use the lemon juice on others, as I don’t want to overdo it.

-Several teaspoons of baking soda
-Enough lemon juice or water to form a paste
-A toothbrush

Directions
Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes.

Many conventional teeth whitening methods contain harsh chemicals. Natural methods, however, whiten just as effectively without the harshness. Hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and lemon juice are among the most common home remedies for whitening teeth.
