How To use Lavender Oil For Best Hair Growth

Lavender oil offers so many benefits to the human body – even though it’s most widely known for its aromatherapy
applications, this oil has a lot of useful qualities for cosmetic purposes, in particular human hair.
A lot of people suffer from hair loss due to a medical condition called Alopecia areata. It’s an autoimmune disease where the
body will reject the hair follicles as being foreign objects. Lavender oil is an all-natural product that can help treat this
disease by aiding in new hair growth.

Benefits of using lavender oil for hair growth

Lavender oil has a sweet, soft scent – it’s distilled from the flowers of the lavender plant. Lavender oil has been found to
have regenerative properties and is quite often the core ingredient of many hair formulas to help treat hair conditions such
as dry scalp, psoriasis, dandruff, etc.
Not only does this essential oil aid with growth of new hair, it also treats sleeplessness, anxiety and stress – all side
effects of embarrassing hair loss.

If your hair loss problem is in fact caused by a psychological state such as depression, stress or anxiety, then lavender oil
can be a very effective natural remedy as it helps regulate blood circulation in the body – including the scalp – so in
general will help promote healthy hair growth.

How to apply lavender oil to hair for growth

For hair loss caused by Alopecia:-
Mix 100% pure essential lavender oil with a carrier oil such as coconut oil.

Massage this mixture into your scalp daily for effective promotion of healthy hair growth.

In addition to the above treatment, try using an organic lavender shampoo and conditioner – always check the ingredients list
and make sure it contains pure lavender oil for best results.

How to Stop Bad Breath AT Home Quick Tips

Bad breath, also known as halitosis, is embarrassing and can take a
toll on your confidence level. Bad breath can be due to a number of
reasons such as eating odorous foods, smoking, dry mouth, medical
conditions, gum disease, and sinus conditions.

Fennel acts as an excellent mouth freshener that helps control bad
breath. It also contains antimicrobial properties that fight the
bacteria in the mouth.

the production of saliva.
You can also drink fennel tea a couple of times a day. To make this
tea, steep one or two teaspoons of fennel seeds in a cup of hot water

How to Stop Snoring Quick Home Remedies

Numerous products are available to treat snoring, but most of them
haven’t been proven effective. There’s no miracle cure for snoring, but
certain lifestyle changes and easy home remedies can be a big help in
controlling it.

Peppermint:
The anti-inflammatory property in peppermint helps reduce swelling of
the membranes in the lining of the throat and nostrils, thus promoting
easy and smooth breathing. Peppermint remedies work well for temporary
snoring due to an allergy, a cold or dry air.
Add one or two drops of peppermint oil to a glass of water. Gargle with
it before going to bed. Make sure not to swallow this solution. Do this
daily until you get the desired result.
If dry air and congestion are causing your snoring, add a few drops of
peppermint oil (you can also use eucalyptus oil) to a humidifier about
30 minutes before you go to bed and turn it on. Run the humidifier
overnight. This will help open up your airways so you don’t snore.
You can also rub a little peppermint oil into the lower portions of
each side of your nose before going to bed.

 Olive Oil
Being a strong anti-inflammatory agent, olive oil eases the tissues all
along the respiratory passages, reducing the swelling to provide a
clear passage for air. It can also reduce soreness. Use this remedy
regularly to also lessen the vibrations in the throat and stop snoring.
Take two or three sips of olive oil before going to bed daily.
Combine one-half teaspoon each of olive oil and honey. Consume it daily
before going to bed.

Lemons, or more specifically the juice from lemons, can treat constipation as it stimulates the digestive system and gets
things moving . This is one of the simplest and most effective treatments that you can try at home.

Incredibly Easy Remedies to Help a Dry Nose

Easy remedies for dry nose...

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is simple, natural, effective, and it smells good. It also
doesn’t glob like petroleum jelly does, so the risk of a big chunk
getting sucked up isn’t there (although its solid at room temperature,
it’s softened before use here.)

You will need…

-1/2 teaspoon or so of virgin coconut oil
-Cotton swabs
-A small bowl

Directions

Place a half a teaspoon or so of coconut oil in a small microwave safe
bowl and warm it until it is soft enough to be easily applied (about 10
seconds.) It does not need to be melted down into a liquid, and in fact
should be left semi-solid. Dip a cotton swab into it and generously
cover it. Apply to the inside of each nostril so that there is a good
through coating. Apply up to 3 times a day (and always before bed.)

Almond Oil and Aloe Vera Gel

Almond oil is a natural emollient, or moisturizer, helping the
sensitive skin in the nostril to become softer and more pliable,
therefore lessening the chance that it will crack. It may also help
lessen evaporation. Aloe vera can help soothe the dryness quickly, but
it won’t provide the same lasting moisture as the almond oil. I use it
mostly for the initial relief (I refrigerate mine) but you can stick to
just almond oil if you like.

You will need…

-1/2 teaspoon almond oil
-1/4 teaspoon aloe vera gel (optional)

Directions

Thoroughly mix almond oil and aloe vera gel. Soak a q-tip in the
mixture and swab gently inside your nostrils. You can also apply with a
cotton ball that has been soaked, but I find this way to be slightly
more difficult.

When I find my nose dried out and painful I tend to sink into despair.
It sounds dramatic, but when it gets so dry it cracks and bleeds it can
really be a downer. Before actually realizing I could probably do
something for it, it felt like I had to suffer through the whole
winter, but with the above remedies (that are truly about as easy as it
gets) a dry nose is one less thing I have to worry about during these
frigid months.

Tips:

-Turn down the heat, turn up the humidifier. The heat will dry out the
air more than it already is, while the humidifier adds moisture. This
will also help if you wake up with dry eyes/a dry throat.
-If you are suffering from a nose dried out because you have a cold and
have been blowing it too much, using a saline spray can help loosen up
mucous and provide moisture/relief in a less harsh manner.

Natural Remedies for Bone and Joint Pain

There are several symptoms that may occur as bone cancer develops and grows, with pain being the most frequent symptom

Epsom Salt Soak
A classic remedy for any muscle or joint ache is a relaxing bath with Epsom Salts. High in magnesium and sulfates, they are easily absorbed through the skin to provide quick relief and reduce inflammation. Add two cups of salts to warm bathwater and soak for at least twenty minutes. Alternatively, Epsom Salts can be used in a compress to apply directly to the skin. Simply dilute two cups into one gallon of water. You can also try an epsom salt with lavender, or other essential oils.

Hot and Cold Packs
For immediate joint pain, try a hot and cold approach. Apply a hot therapeutic gel pack to the affected area for twenty minutes. Immediately follow up with a cold ice pack for another twenty. If you can’t stand the severity of ice, let it thaw out while you are applying heat. Even a chilled pack will bring relief.

Effective Remedy For Fever

A fever is basically a symptom of another condition or illness. A fever can occur when your body is fighting an infection, such as the flu. Some of the common symptoms associated with a fever include sweating, headache, muscle ache, dehydration, weakness, slight shivering and loss of appetite.

Cool Water: Soak a wash cloth in cool tap water, wring out the excess water and then sponge areas like your armpits, feet, hands and groin to reduce the temperature. Also, you can place cold, damp washcloths on your forehead and the back of your neck. The cloth pieces should be changed regularly after a few minutes. This remedy is beneficial when dealing with a high fever as it helps keep temperature under control. You can also take a bath in lukewarm water to relax your body. Taking a shower, however, may not be a good idea. Plus, needless to say, take as much rest as possible as it helps the body fight the illness.

Note: Do not use very cold water as it may cause the internal body temperature to increase.

Ginger: Ginger helps the body expel heat, which in turn helps reduce fever. Plus, ginger is a natural antiviral and antibacterial agent and helps the immune system fight any kind of infection.Put two tablespoons of ginger powder in a bathtub filled with warm water and mix well. Soak in this water for 10 minutes. Pat dry your body and go to bed. Cover yourself completely with a blanket. Soon you will start sweating and your fever will come down. Make ginger tea by adding one-half teaspoon of freshly grated ginger to one cup of boiling water and letting it steep for a few minutes. Add some honey and enjoy this tea three or four times a day. Another option is to mix together one-half teaspoon of ginger juice, one teaspoon of lemon juice and one tablespoon of honey. Consume this mixture three or four times daily until your fever is gone.

Note: Perform a patch test on your forearm before taking this detoxifying ginger bath to check if it suits you.

Super Amazing Simple Homemade Moisturizer For Winter Season

What people forget is that harsh chemicals can still be absorbed
through the skin, and with that in mind we set about making a natural
moisturizer.

This simple homemade moisturizer uses just three ingredients!
Here’s the main ingredients and why we used them:

Coconut Oil
Anti Aging. Again very, very moisturizing but also contains anti
fungal, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Has similar effects
on the skin to an antioxidant.

Vitamin E Oil
Scar healing. Vitamin E is known to really good at reducing scar
tissue, acne and skin blemishes. It’s why it’s in popular scar and acne
‘over the counter’ treatments. Additionally, the oil helps hold this
solution together.

Lavender Oil
Relaxing. Lavender oil is a well known antioxidant, helping to rid skin
of free radicals. It’s a great overall muscle relaxer and it’s similar
to vanilla in this respect.

Ingredients
1/2 cup coconut oil (where on earth do I buy that?)
1 teaspoon liquid vitamin E (where to buy)
12 drops lavender essential oil (where to buy quality lavender)
Method:

Yes, you wanted simple! We warned you. Simply melt the coconut oil (by
placing the jar into a bowl of warm water) and mix in the Vit E and
Lavender, give it a mix up and let it set.
Whip with a fork if you want.
When the coconut solidifies, you’ll end up with a mixture that contains
the health benefits of all the ingredients in one, quick and simple
homemade moisturizer.
That’s it – Enjoy!

Best Home Remedies For Uneven Skin Tone

uneven skin tone can be the result of discoloration of the skin due to
constant exposure to sun, acne scars, pimples, pigmentation or due to
any form of injury. Many women do not feel beautiful if they have
uneven skin tone because it makes us look tired and unhealthy.
There are many skin care products that promise us healthy and even skin
tone but these can be expensive and there is no guarantee that they
will work. You can get rid of uneven skin tone by following simple and
basic home remedies.

Sugar
Sugar makes a good exfoliating agent as it gently scrubs away the dead
and flaky skin to reveal younger looking and even toned skin. Make
sugar paste by mixing sugar granules with very little water. Add a
scoop of your favourite face cream and mix well. Rub the sugar scrub on
your face and other parts suffering from uneven skin tone. Wash off
with lukewarm water.

Baking Soda

Baking soda has natural exfoliating agents and is not harsh on the skin
as some of the commercially available exfoliators. It gently scrubs the
surface of the skin and gets rid of the dry and flaky sun that is
tanned and scarred and resulting in unevenness of the skin tone. Take a
teaspoon of baking soda and form a paste by adding organic water or
rosewater to it.Apply the baking soda paste on your face and leave for
a couple of minutes for it to work. Start massaging the face gently
using the tips of your fingers only. Massage for 2-3 minutes and then
wash face using lukewarm water.

It could also come from unhealthy eating habits like eating hastily, eating irregularly, talking while eating, and
excessively drinking water during meal time. Excessive consumption of spicy foods can also add up to the cause of having
gastric trouble.
Ulcer is another cause of a gastric trouble. If left untreated, it could lead to more serious medical condition like stomach

honey for taste, if desired. Drink it daily for a few weeks.

Home Remedies For Hair Ceabum

I know a lot of people who rave on about the
wonderful results obtained from onion juice for the
loss of hair. It seems to really be a little gem
amongst the natural remedies for hair loss and as
it’s such a common household ingredient it’s very
easy (and cheap) to do regularly. Here i’ve listed
all the benefits of the humble onion and it’s juice
that makes it great as a hair loss treatment.

Onion Juice
Juice or grate the onions. If grating onions then
wrap in muslin or similar cloth and wring out juice.
Keep juice and discard the pulp.

Tips
To keep the onion juice as fresh and effective as
possible, make it in small batches to eliminate
storage time and prolonged shelf life.
Do not warm the onion juice on the stove or in a
microwave, as heating it can damage the compounds in
it that are responsible for hair growth.

Method 1
Apply the undiluted juice to the affected areas of
your skin by putting on the gloves and dipping a
sterile cotton ball into the onion juice. Apply to
the hair loss area. Massage deep into the hair roots
but do gently, so as not to cause traction alopecia
by pulling on the roots of the hair. Leave on for
around 30 mins before shampooing or conditioning
hair.

Method 2
Mix onion juice into your conditioner and apply after
shampooing hair. Let sit for a minimum of 30 mins
with a shower cap on. Rinse hair thoroughly.

How to Get Healthy, Strong Hair

If you want to have stronger hair, please follow the
steps below.

Tie up your hair. For strong hair you must train your
hair's muscles. Each strand of hair has a muscle in
the root called an arrector pili muscle. Tying up
your hair can help strengthen your hair. If are not
used to tying up your hair, tie it medium ways, then
higher and higher. If you tie your hair up high when
you are not used to it, at the end of the day you
will feel pain. This is how you know you have over
worked your arrector pili muscles.

Massage your scalp. Massaging the scalp will do many
things for your hair. It improves the circulation and
brings out the natural oils.

Don't over brush! Over brushing breaks off hair, use
a wide-tooth comb and don't tear through the tangles.
Comb from the ends to the roots of your hair. This
method will prevent the strands of your hair from
breaking. If you've ever heard of the myth: Brush
your hair 100 times a day and your will have shiny
strong hair. This is actually not a myth. For most
people it will break and ruin their hair, but for a
person with strong hair this is benefiting. If a
person with strong hair followed this myth it would
make their hair shiny because brushing brings out the
natural oils from the roots of hair, which makes the
hair naturally softer.

Use a natural remedy. A mixture of ½ a cup of coconut
oil, 2 egg whites and honey so the mixture is in a
paste-like texture.
Massage this into your hair from the roots to the
ends. Wait for one hour and wash it out well. Don't
be too rough or you could damage your hair. If you
could have someone assist you that would be helpful.

Don't over clean your hair. Washing it every day will
dry your hair. When you wash your hair everyday the
shampoo strips the natural oils of your hair.
Conditioner ingredients (especially low quality) is
not the same as naturally occurring oils, so take
showers in moderation. If you have over oily hair it
is most likely because the hair is trying to use it's
natural oils because the hair is striped of them.
Make sure you are applying enough conditioner, if you
are try applying high quality hot oil treatments.

Drink properly. Drink plenty of water, If you are
dehydrated you are likely to have drier hair. This
makes the hair less likely to build up in strength.

combo of yogurt and honey, and apply it on the pores.

Natural Remedies for Itchy and Irritated Skin

These remedies don’t only work for bug bites. Many of
these methods I’m about to list below can be used to
ameliorate a variety of skin complaints: rashes,
poison ivy, eczema and other itch-inducing skin
problems.

Aloe Vera

We love aloe vera for just about every kind of skin
irritation. Aloe is probably best-known for its
ability to heal sunburns, but it’s extremely versatile
as it soothes the skin and relieves swelling and
irritation. If you live in Southern California,
there’s probably an 85% chance it’s already growing in
your yard.
How to use it: Break off a leaf from the plant, and
cut it open lengthwise from top to bottom with a
knife. Scoop out the gooey gel inside, and rub it
directly onto irritated skin. If you have extra left
over, you can keep it refrigerated in an airtight
container for up to a week.

 Apple Cider Vinegar
This isn’t the first time I’ve sung the praises of the
uber-versatile ACV, and I suspect it won’t be the
last. Apple cider vinegar is an effective antiseptic,
anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agent that relieves
itching, especially itching associated with dry skin
(for example: sunburns and dandruff). It’s also
popularly used for pets with dry, itchy skin as well,
by adding a few cupfuls to their bath water.
How to use it: Just put a few drops of it onto a
cotton ball or washcloth and dab it on to the affected
area. Use raw, organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
(Bragg’s is a good brand) with the “mother,” a
strand-like sediment floating at the bottom of the
bottle that contains raw enzymes and beneficial
bacteria.
