How to Stop Snoring Quick Home Remedies

Numerous products are available to treat snoring, but most of them
haven’t been proven effective. There’s no miracle cure for snoring, but
certain lifestyle changes and easy home remedies can be a big help in
controlling it.

Peppermint:
The anti-inflammatory property in peppermint helps reduce swelling of
the membranes in the lining of the throat and nostrils, thus promoting
easy and smooth breathing. Peppermint remedies work well for temporary
snoring due to an allergy, a cold or dry air.
Add one or two drops of peppermint oil to a glass of water. Gargle with
it before going to bed. Make sure not to swallow this solution. Do this
daily until you get the desired result.
If dry air and congestion are causing your snoring, add a few drops of
peppermint oil (you can also use eucalyptus oil) to a humidifier about
30 minutes before you go to bed and turn it on. Run the humidifier
overnight. This will help open up your airways so you don’t snore.
You can also rub a little peppermint oil into the lower portions of
each side of your nose before going to bed.

 Olive Oil
Being a strong anti-inflammatory agent, olive oil eases the tissues all
along the respiratory passages, reducing the swelling to provide a
clear passage for air. It can also reduce soreness. Use this remedy
regularly to also lessen the vibrations in the throat and stop snoring.
Take two or three sips of olive oil before going to bed daily.
Combine one-half teaspoon each of olive oil and honey. Consume it daily
before going to bed.

Easy Remedies To Relieve Constipation

Constipation is unpleasant, but you don't have to suffer. Try these home remedies to get your digestive system back on track.

Lemon
Lemons, or more specifically the juice from lemons, can treat constipation as it stimulates the digestive system and gets
things moving . This is one of the simplest and most effective treatments that you can try at home.
home remedy for constipation
Extract the juice of half a lemon and add it to a glass of warm water. You can also add a pinch of rock salt or one-half
teaspoon of table salt and a little honey to it.
Drink the lemon water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. You can also drink a glass of this solution in the
evening.
Follow this remedy daily and expect results within a few days.

Figs
Figs are very high in fiber and act as a natural laxative. Those suffering from chronic constipation should include figs in
their diet. For the treatment of constipation, both fresh and dried figs can be used. When fresh figs are available, eat them
with their skin on. The skin contains most of the fiber and calcium.
Take two to three almonds and dried figs.
Soak them in water for a few hours.
Peel the almonds and grind the ingredients.
Take this paste with one tablespoon of honey at night.

Incredibly Easy Remedies to Help a Dry Nose

Easy remedies for dry nose...

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is simple, natural, effective, and it smells good. It also
doesn’t glob like petroleum jelly does, so the risk of a big chunk
getting sucked up isn’t there (although its solid at room temperature,
it’s softened before use here.)

You will need…

-1/2 teaspoon or so of virgin coconut oil
-Cotton swabs
-A small bowl

Directions

Place a half a teaspoon or so of coconut oil in a small microwave safe
bowl and warm it until it is soft enough to be easily applied (about 10
seconds.) It does not need to be melted down into a liquid, and in fact
should be left semi-solid. Dip a cotton swab into it and generously
cover it. Apply to the inside of each nostril so that there is a good
through coating. Apply up to 3 times a day (and always before bed.)

Almond Oil and Aloe Vera Gel

Almond oil is a natural emollient, or moisturizer, helping the
sensitive skin in the nostril to become softer and more pliable,
therefore lessening the chance that it will crack. It may also help
lessen evaporation. Aloe vera can help soothe the dryness quickly, but
it won’t provide the same lasting moisture as the almond oil. I use it
mostly for the initial relief (I refrigerate mine) but you can stick to
just almond oil if you like.

You will need…

-1/2 teaspoon almond oil
-1/4 teaspoon aloe vera gel (optional)

Directions

Thoroughly mix almond oil and aloe vera gel. Soak a q-tip in the
mixture and swab gently inside your nostrils. You can also apply with a
cotton ball that has been soaked, but I find this way to be slightly
more difficult.

When I find my nose dried out and painful I tend to sink into despair.
It sounds dramatic, but when it gets so dry it cracks and bleeds it can
really be a downer. Before actually realizing I could probably do
something for it, it felt like I had to suffer through the whole
winter, but with the above remedies (that are truly about as easy as it
gets) a dry nose is one less thing I have to worry about during these
frigid months.

Tips:

-Turn down the heat, turn up the humidifier. The heat will dry out the
air more than it already is, while the humidifier adds moisture. This
will also help if you wake up with dry eyes/a dry throat.
-If you are suffering from a nose dried out because you have a cold and
have been blowing it too much, using a saline spray can help loosen up
mucous and provide moisture/relief in a less harsh manner.

Natural Remedies for Bone and Joint Pain

There are several symptoms that may occur as bone cancer develops and grows, with pain being the most frequent symptom

Epsom Salt Soak
A classic remedy for any muscle or joint ache is a relaxing bath with Epsom Salts. High in magnesium and sulfates, they are easily absorbed through the skin to provide quick relief and reduce inflammation. Add two cups of salts to warm bathwater and soak for at least twenty minutes. Alternatively, Epsom Salts can be used in a compress to apply directly to the skin. Simply dilute two cups into one gallon of water. You can also try an epsom salt with lavender, or other essential oils.

Hot and Cold Packs
For immediate joint pain, try a hot and cold approach. Apply a hot therapeutic gel pack to the affected area for twenty minutes. Immediately follow up with a cold ice pack for another twenty. If you can’t stand the severity of ice, let it thaw out while you are applying heat. Even a chilled pack will bring relief.

Home Remedies for Cracked Heels

Best Tips For Crack Heels

 Rice Flour
Exfoliating the skin on your feet and heels will help remove dead skin,
thus preventing  cracking and dryness. Rice flour can be used a part of
a homemade exfoliating scrub.
To make the scrub, mix a handful of ground rice with a few teaspoons of
honey and apple cider vinegar. Stir it until it becomes a thick paste.
If the cracking on your heels is extremely bad, add a tablespoon of
olive oil or sweet almond oil.
Soak your feet in warm water for 10 minutes and then gently scrub them
with the rice flour paste.
Repeat the process a few times a week until you are satisfied with the
results.

Lemons
The acidic property in lemons can be very effective in softening rough
skin that leads to cracking.
Soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes in warm water with lemon juice
added to it. Avoid using very hot water, which can cause your feet to
dry out more.
Scrub your cracked heels using a pumice stone.
Wash your feet and pat dry with a towel.

Effective Remedy For Fever

A fever is basically a symptom of another condition or illness. A fever can occur when your body is fighting an infection, such as the flu. Some of the common symptoms associated with a fever include sweating, headache, muscle ache, dehydration, weakness, slight shivering and loss of appetite.

Cool Water: Soak a wash cloth in cool tap water, wring out the excess water and then sponge areas like your armpits, feet, hands and groin to reduce the temperature. Also, you can place cold, damp washcloths on your forehead and the back of your neck. The cloth pieces should be changed regularly after a few minutes. This remedy is beneficial when dealing with a high fever as it helps keep temperature under control. You can also take a bath in lukewarm water to relax your body. Taking a shower, however, may not be a good idea. Plus, needless to say, take as much rest as possible as it helps the body fight the illness.

Note: Do not use very cold water as it may cause the internal body temperature to increase.

Ginger: Ginger helps the body expel heat, which in turn helps reduce fever. Plus, ginger is a natural antiviral and antibacterial agent and helps the immune system fight any kind of infection.Put two tablespoons of ginger powder in a bathtub filled with warm water and mix well. Soak in this water for 10 minutes. Pat dry your body and go to bed. Cover yourself completely with a blanket. Soon you will start sweating and your fever will come down. Make ginger tea by adding one-half teaspoon of freshly grated ginger to one cup of boiling water and letting it steep for a few minutes. Add some honey and enjoy this tea three or four times a day. Another option is to mix together one-half teaspoon of ginger juice, one teaspoon of lemon juice and one tablespoon of honey. Consume this mixture three or four times daily until your fever is gone.

Note: Perform a patch test on your forearm before taking this detoxifying ginger bath to check if it suits you.

Super Amazing Simple Homemade Moisturizer For Winter Season

What people forget is that harsh chemicals can still be absorbed
through the skin, and with that in mind we set about making a natural
moisturizer.

This simple homemade moisturizer uses just three ingredients!
Here’s the main ingredients and why we used them:

Coconut Oil
Anti Aging. Again very, very moisturizing but also contains anti
fungal, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Has similar effects
on the skin to an antioxidant.

Vitamin E Oil
Scar healing. Vitamin E is known to really good at reducing scar
tissue, acne and skin blemishes. It’s why it’s in popular scar and acne
‘over the counter’ treatments. Additionally, the oil helps hold this
solution together.

Lavender Oil
Relaxing. Lavender oil is a well known antioxidant, helping to rid skin
of free radicals. It’s a great overall muscle relaxer and it’s similar
to vanilla in this respect.

Ingredients
1/2 cup coconut oil (where on earth do I buy that?)
1 teaspoon liquid vitamin E (where to buy)
12 drops lavender essential oil (where to buy quality lavender)
Method:

Yes, you wanted simple! We warned you. Simply melt the coconut oil (by
placing the jar into a bowl of warm water) and mix in the Vit E and
Lavender, give it a mix up and let it set.
Whip with a fork if you want.
When the coconut solidifies, you’ll end up with a mixture that contains
the health benefits of all the ingredients in one, quick and simple
homemade moisturizer.
That’s it – Enjoy!
