Home Remedies to Shrink the Open Pores

A large number of herbs, fruits and vegetables aids
in tightening the enlarged pores. Although there are
a number of cosmetic products available in the
market, but you can’t eliminate these pores
completely from your skin. Try some easy on pocket
home remedies that can minimize the appearance of
open pores.

1.Ice Cubes
It is an instant remedy for open pores that will
stimulate blood circulation and give you a healthier
skin. Cleanse your face and rub an ice cube twice in
a day for about 5-10 seconds. This is a toner that
tightens the pores. Alternatively, you can merely
wash your face with ice cold water. For more
benefits, fill the ice tray with tomato or lemon
juice and freeze it. Massage these ice cubes on your
face.

Note- People suffering with sinusitis or meningitis
should not use this remedy.

2. Honey
Honey is incredibly great for skin, as it has
antibacterial, medicinal and healing properties. It
contains high amount of potassium that kills those
bacteria which clog the pores. On the other hand,
yogurt is a good source of lactic acid that
exfoliates your skin and cleanses the pores. Make a
combo of yogurt and honey, and apply it on the pores.
After a few minutes, rinse it with water.

3. Sugar and Olive Oil Scrub
Take 2 tablespoon of sugar; add 1 tablespoon of olive
oil and a few drops of lemon juice. Mix all the
ingredients and gently rub on your face for 20 to 30
seconds. Clean it with cool water. For better

Natural Remedies for Itchy and Irritated Skin

These remedies don’t only work for bug bites. Many of
these methods I’m about to list below can be used to
ameliorate a variety of skin complaints: rashes,
poison ivy, eczema and other itch-inducing skin
problems.

Aloe Vera

We love aloe vera for just about every kind of skin
irritation. Aloe is probably best-known for its
ability to heal sunburns, but it’s extremely versatile
as it soothes the skin and relieves swelling and
irritation. If you live in Southern California,
there’s probably an 85% chance it’s already growing in
your yard.
How to use it: Break off a leaf from the plant, and
cut it open lengthwise from top to bottom with a
knife. Scoop out the gooey gel inside, and rub it
directly onto irritated skin. If you have extra left
over, you can keep it refrigerated in an airtight
container for up to a week.

 Apple Cider Vinegar
This isn’t the first time I’ve sung the praises of the
uber-versatile ACV, and I suspect it won’t be the
last. Apple cider vinegar is an effective antiseptic,
anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agent that relieves
itching, especially itching associated with dry skin
(for example: sunburns and dandruff). It’s also
popularly used for pets with dry, itchy skin as well,
by adding a few cupfuls to their bath water.
How to use it: Just put a few drops of it onto a
cotton ball or washcloth and dab it on to the affected
area. Use raw, organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
(Bragg’s is a good brand) with the “mother,” a
strand-like sediment floating at the bottom of the
bottle that contains raw enzymes and beneficial
bacteria.

Home Remedies For Minor Burn On Face

Minor burns are those that damage only the top layers of the skin, making the area red and painful. They are often referred to as first-degree burns or superficial burns. They can be caused by contact with hot fluids or objects, steam, or sun exposure.
Minor burns can develop painful blisters if not treated timely. Many natural remedies can promote healing and minimize pain. Minor burns tend to heal within a few days or up to three weeks.

Cold Water

Stop a burn from spreading by running cold water over the burn area for several minutes within seconds of being burned.
You can also place a cold compress over the affected area. Repeat the remedy every few hours to relieve the discomfort. Do not use ice as it can restrict blood flow, which can eventually cause damage to the delicate tissues.

2. Raw Potato

Raw potato can treat minor skin burns due to its anti-irritating and soothing properties. It will alleviate the pain and reduce the chance of having blisters.
  • Simply cut a slice of raw potato and rub it on the burn, making sure the juice from the potato is releasing over the area.
  • Another option is to grate a raw potato and apply it on the affected area for about 15 minutes.
For best results, use either of these remedies soon after the burn occurs.

3. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera has astringent and tissue-healing properties that can help in healing burns.
  • Cut a small piece of the aloe vera leaf and apply the fresh gel directly on the burn.
  • You could also mix one teaspoon each of aloe vera gel and turmeric and then apply.
If you do not have an aloe vera plant, you can apply a cream that has aloe vera as an ingredient.

Reduce Your Belly Fat With Garlic

Use Garlic to Lose Belly Fat

You might be knowing that garlic is good for your cardiovascular system as it reduces both systolic and diastolic blood pressure as well as triglycerides apart from increasing good cholesterol. You might, however, not be knowing that garlic has excellent anti-obesity properties too! Every minute our body cells die and our body makes new cells to replace them. Adipocytes (also called lipocytes and fat cells) are the cells in our body which primarily compose adipose tissue (body fat). In the adipose tissue, there undergoes a process wherein pre-adipocytes are converted into full-fledged adipose tissue or fat. This process is known as adipogenesis. Studies show that garlic inhibits this process of adipogenisis or the process of making fat. If stated in simple language, garlic stops your pre fat cells from converting into fat cells. So, you might well like to add garlic into your daily diet. However, raw garlic is more beneficial when you want to lose belly fat!

Get this:
  • Garlic cloves- 3
  • Lemon- 1
  • Water- 1 cup
Do this:
  • Squeeze the lemon juice into the cup of water.
  • Chew 3 garlic cloves and then drink the lemon water
  • Repeat every morning on an empty stomach.
  • You will start losing belly fat within 2 week’s time
