Banana Homemade Hair Mask For Damaged And Dry Hair:

Banana Hair Mask is rich in potassium, vitamins, anti-oxidants and contains natural oil and moisture. It’s a good treatment for damaged hair and provides your hair with nutrition to make them strong and healthy. It’s effective for thin and weak hair and also when you are suffering from hair loss. Apply a powerful banana hair mask for its moisturizing properties to strengthen hair to avoid hair breakage and split ends. It helps your hair to maintain elasticity, as well as making them healthy and bouncy.
How To Make A Banana Hair Mask At Home:
(i) Take 2 overripe bananas, 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 1 table spoon olive oil and 1 table spoon of honey.
(ii) Blend the 2 overripe bananas finely into a smooth paste with no lumps or weeny banana pieces.  Mix in the honey, olive and coconut oil and blend the mixture again.
(iii) Apply the mask into your scalp and lengths of your hair. Cover with a disposable plastic shower cap to avoid dripping of the mask everywhere. Let the hair pack settle and sink into your scalp for about 15-20 minutes.
(iv) Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water and comb through to remove any banana pieces.  Use your favorite shampoo or conditioner as you need.
Tip: Use overripe bananas for easy blending into a fine paste without any banana chunks, otherwise tiny pieces will remain stuck in your hair.

Olive Oil Treatment For Dry Hair

Dry hair occurs when your hair does not receive
enough moisture. This reduces its sheen and can
make your hair appear frizzy, lifeless, and dull.

Olive oil is the most popular home remedy for dry
hair. The rich vitamin E and antioxidant content
present in olive oil help heal damaged hair by
sealing the cuticle, or outer layer, with moisture.
Olive oil can be used as a hot oil hair treatment
to strengthen, add shine and restore moisture to
very dry hair.

Put enough olive oil for the length of your hair in
a cup or bowl and slightly warm it in a microwave.
Apply the warm oil thoroughly over your scalp and
hair shafts. Massage your scalp gently for five to
10 minutes.
Cover your hair with a warm towel and leave the oil
on overnight, or at least for 30 minutes.
Finally, shampoo and condition your hair with
products suited to your hair type.
Do this at least once a week to give your hair
much-needed nourishment and care.

Olive oil can create a big difference in moisture
after just a few uses, and promotes a healthy scalp
and hair roots.
