How to Apply Foundation

The right foundation will even out your skin tone and give you the appearance of flawless skin. But you have to do it right, otherwise you risk looking like a clown. Follow these steps for a flawless complexion.

Instructions
1. Begin with clean hands and a clean face

2. Apply a moisturizing sunscreen, moisturizer or primer that's perfect for your skin type. All foundations will go on more smoothly if the skin is well-hydrated. Foundation primer is my pick, because
it creates a smooth surface for foundation. (Some makeup artists believe it's a crime not to prime).

3. Let the moisturizer, sunscreen or primer set for about a minute.

4. Camouflage your dark, under-eye circles with a concealer. Pat, never rub, the concealer into skin.

5. Makeup artists swear by foundationbrushes to apply product. They soak up less foundation and blend flawlessly.

Long Lasting Lipstick Tips

Keeping your lipstick on your lips is a challenge for a lot of us. but here's a trick to make your lipstick long-lasting even if it's a traditional formula. All you need is lipstick, a similar or matching liner, translucent powder, a brush, and a tissue.

Step One:
Define your lip shape with liner. I like to start by making an x at the Cupid's bow, a little u shape on the bottom lip, and arrows at the corner, and then connecting the lines.

Step Two:
Fill in your entire upper and bottom lip with liner. This is an important step. Lip liner is drier than lipstick and will adhere to your lips, which will help the color stay, even if your creamy lipstick formula wears off.

Step Three:
Apply lipstick. I like to use a brush for precision, but you can also just apply straight from the tube.

Step Four:
Take your tissue and pull it apart so you only have 1 ply. Lay it over your lips and powder on top of the tissue. This will let a small amount of powder set your lipstick without it looking dry or dulling the color!

Make sure you take your lipstick with you to touch up just in case! This trick will definitely help it wear longer. Try it out and see what works best for you!

Home Remedies to Get Straight Hair

Straight, shiny and smooth hair has always been in trend as it looks good on any face type. If you wish to have straight hair without damaging your lustrous locks, you can try some natural home remedies. These home remedies should be done no more than two or three times a week. Daily use would not be healthy for your scalp and hair.

Eggs and Olive Oil

Eggs play an important role in making your hair stronger and shiner. Olive oil helps keep your hair well moisturized. These ingredients, when combined together, help straighten your hair naturally.

Beat two eggs properly and mix in four tablespoons of olive oil.
Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp, then comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb.
Wear a shower cap and leave it on for 30 to 45 minutes.
Rinse it off and wash your hair with a mild shampoo.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a great ingredient for straightening your hair. It restores your hair’s natural pH levels and promotes healthy hair growth and an infection-free scalp.

Homemade Tips For Hiccups

Home remedies for those annoying hiccups.

1. Swallow something sweet.
A spoonful of sugar is popular because its graininess could slightly irritate the esophagus, causing the phrenic nerves to "reset" themselves, although there is no proof of this.

2. Something sour.
Take a teaspoonful of vinegar. Its sour taste could stop a hiccup in its tracks.

3. Yummy chocolate remedy.
Eat some powdered chocolate drink mix (cocoa or Ovaltine) right off the spoon. Swallowing the spoonful isn't easy and should short-circuit the hiccups.

4. Enjoy a little honey.
Put 1 teaspoon of honey, stirred in warm water, on the back of your tongue, and swallow it. Like dill, honey could potentially tickle the vagus nerve to make the hiccups stop.

5. Sip some hot sauce.
This probably works because the heat and burn are distracting enough to turn your body's focus on the burn, instead of the hiccup process.
